Reflective writing week 7

On this week we are continued to cover two more topic about curiculum development. So there are taba models and contemperory models.
So as we know the taba model is develop by Hilda Taba, and also develop by tyler models. So commonly use of this model for language programme. This programme also known as " grass- root" Based  on the rationale that those who teach the curiculum example the teacher should participate in developing the curiculum.  Teacher is know more about students.  This models also have stage. And as we had learn, taba's models is inductive which is specific or general.  Example ,for deductive ( general specific) for one programe B.ED (PHE) we have so many subject to learn so we go one by one   . But for inductive we not go for general, it was smaller learning unit. Such as start by creating teaching, learning unit for the students.
In taba's models had 7 stage   , which is 6 stage is same like tyler but have add one stage that is diagnosis. Taba models will do a diagnosis need, to get information from students. Such what they like what they do not like. From the diagnosis they will use the interesting subject that their students mostly like but still develop the important subject for their needs even they do not want it.
After taba's models , we are learn about the last models which is contemperory models.
Contemporary models have 5 stages. Also find out about need analysis for students , employers, national and global development, industry, stakeholder such as teacher , students, headmaster.
At the end of our class, we are know about curiculum development and step and models that can be use to design the curiculum.
